Continuous Membrane Filtration (CMF)

TTP's CMF process utilizes an outside-in mode and low pressure conditions to separate solids from the influent water. Solids-free water (permeate) flows into the fibre lumen while the concentrate is recycled back to the feed tank.

Small solids and bacteria that become attached to the membrane surface or trapped in the pore matrix are removed through a suite of membrane cleaning processes:

Cleaning Methods

• Maintain sufficient turbulence at the fibre surface through a constant flow of liquid across the membranes (cross flow filtration).

• Regular reversal of flow to wash the inside of the fibres.

• Air flow across the membrane surface to scour attached particles.

• Chemical rinsing of the membranes.

MEMBRANE BIOREACTOR

Small Scale Package Type Membrane Bioreactor (SMBR)

The TTP-SMBR process utilizes small land usage with small footprint. The treatment process of filtration, backwash is all completed in single bioreactor with fully automatic operation. The system eliminates smell, pollutant and no manpower manning requirement.

MEMBRANE BIOREACTOR (MBR)

Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) is the latest technology which combines both membrane technology and conventional activated sludg processes and is called "membrane activated sludge process".

The technology was invented in the seventies which has now gained wide popularity and application. MBR utilizes the membrane as the main media to carry out the separation of the sludge and water of the wastewater in the reactor tank.

On the other hand, the membrane retains the bacteria in the reactor tank and thus increases concentration of MLSS and therefore increases the bioreactor tank of the wastewater to achieve high treatment efficiency with the fine pore. The treated effluent achieves high quality and clear effluent discharge.
